Kaitou Joker is the anime adaptation of the Corocoro serialized manga Mysterious Joker, written by Hideyasu Takahashi. The first anime series aired between October 6th 2014 to January 5th 2015 for a total of 13 episodes.

The 2015 issues of Corocoro Comic announced that the series had been green-lit for a second season that aired on April 6th 2015. Following that, a third season was announced to be premiered on April 4th 2016. A fourth season following after the third aired in October 2016.

While most episodes are based off most of the manga chapters, the anime follows its own chronological order with original elements.

An official English dub premiered on Disney XD Asia on August 6th 2016.

Season 1[]

Season 1 starts the series introducing the main cast: Joker, Queen, Spade, Hachi, Dark Eye, Roko, and Silver Heart. Against them are the police featuring Detective Oniyama and his subordinates, Ginko Kurosaki and Momo Shirai, and other recurring characters who challenge Joker such as Mister Kaneari and his secretary, Kaneko. But the main antagonists, Shadow Joker, and Professor Clover along with Lady Doubt tend to do more than get in Joker's way.

Disney XD Asia refers this season as the first-half of Season 1.

Season 2 serves as a continuation of Joker's journey. At the same time, he has to confront against Professor Clover, Silver Heart's long-time archenemy, and Shadow Joker, Joker's rival who shares a secret past with him..

Season 3[]

Season 3 serves as Joker's quest to find an ancient treasure. He was joined by an alien cat named Hosshi and encounters a mysterious Phantom Thief, Akai Tsubasa. At the same time, he have to combat a mysterious evil organization, the "Devil's Fang" and against the assassins they sent.

Season 4[]

Season 4 serves as a quest for Joker to find the Ancient Treasure. However, Devil Fang continues to target him and his gang with new hunters and Phantom Thieves after them. Dr. Neo has planned against Phoenix and Hosshii for his own goals.
